A peaceful run at God's own place- Vrindavan
If you want to feel the place, just run it!
Again Vrindavan for the 5th time :) Plan was to visit 'Prem Mandir' at night and just roam around.
Prem Mandir
After completing the planned visit we checked-in at hotel. Before falling asleep , just thought wouldn't it be a great idea to do a long run tomorrow. First my mind said "No! You have to drive way back to Noida also" then my heart interrupted "No..No. you can do it. It would be HR based run so not much toll on the body"... My confused 'self' fell asleep amidst prevailing confusion and arguments between mind and heart.
When i woke-up, it was 7:15AM. I thought once again: i left my long run week after week! Then i peeped through the window 'Ohh its cloudy! Can try for an hour run'! Laced up and came on the road!
Warm-up done: Blessings for the upcoming MAF test
Vrindavan is a small town so there was no early traffic rush! Shops were getting opened and smoke were getting its existence on the chulhas! No pollution and a sense of belonging on every face i was passing by!
Started slowly to get warmed up properly! You could easily get so many sages at every nook and corner here. Seeing a guy in shorts and tee running on the road alone was not very common phenomenon for them but they were kind enough to pass a smile and showing thums-up. It was really cool. After 1 mile, i reached at the turn of Kripalu maharaj building. All good but i forgot to take the water bottle in hurry and weather was a bit humid. I am not very pro to experiment with low water intake run. But, i thought on the way i might get small water bottle so better to reach at MHR and lets try a MAF test at this sacred place only! Have not taken it since long time because of irregularity in training.
So, i started it carefully. Both the sides of the road looked quite green due to rainy season but filled with dry leaves. Was enjoying my run way better than Delhi. My takes were:
MAF test Stat
Vrindavan is a town of temples and positive vibes! So, its easy to get energy from everywhere on the run! Every passing mile was easy and it never felt like i am just crawling like delhi, it all felt faster than a jog at least to maintain the MAF pace! Soon, i reached at the end of Vrindavan so took right turn on delhi-agra highway and ran further distance!
On the way back- Finished MAF test here
Met these lovely kids after finishing the desired distance:
Happy Kids!
When i finished my test, i was 4 miles away from the hotel. I had two choices:
So, further 3 miles were covered at a faster pace and reached hotel on time and proceeded to Baanke Vihari temple with family. Very wise decision!
Anaerobic run started!
After visiting Baanke Vihari temple we went to yamuna river and did boating which we never did here just because of my kid! Its a nice experience!
Nauka Vihar in Yamuna river!

- Not to go beyond 150 HR
- Always maintain a upright posture with soft landing
- Last but not the least: Show love and gratitude to all the people and temples on the way!

When i finished my test, i was 4 miles away from the hotel. I had two choices:
- One: Run the rest distance at MHR and have a fight with wife at hotel for the delay
- Two: Cover the rest of distance with the help of anaerobic muscle fiber and lead a peaceful day.
So, further 3 miles were covered at a faster pace and reached hotel on time and proceeded to Baanke Vihari temple with family. Very wise decision!
